Julianna Barwick cancels headline shows to open for Sigur Rós

Julianna Barwick has cancelled a string of live dates to support Sigur Rós on their North American tour.
Barwick has announced she will be opening for Sigur Rós on their fall stint, which has consequently required her to cancel some previously scheduled North American headlining dates of her own during September/October.
The musician broke the news via Facebook, writing:
“I hope to make it up to all the people and cities and venues who worked so hard on those shows as soon as humanly possible.”
