Arcade Fire's new album rumoured to be named Reflektor
Rumours are circulating that Canadian indie troupe Arcade Fire have named their new album Reflektor, following a guerrilla marketing campaign promoting the same name.
The Quebec collective recently revealed via a reply to a fan’s tweet that their much anticipated fourth album is set to drop 29 October.
With the band gearing up for a live return, pieces of graffiti have sprung up in various cities depicting a diamond in a circle with the word ‘Reflektor’ within. Now, it looks like it might have something to do with Win Butler and co.
A video advertising the alleged album (much like the clip embedded below) was played during sets at Lollapalooza over the weekend, with two graffiti artists also coming out supposedly confirming the project to be something to do with Arcade Fire.
You can watch a clip of the advert below, along with some snaps of the graffiti. The Arcade Fire album is due in October.
