Arcade Fire confirm new album to be named Reflektor
Arcade Fire have confirmed that, as previously expected, their new album will go by the name of Reflektor. Or, at least, something upcoming from them will be called that.
The band have finally revealed themselves to be behind the graffiti campaign, as was assumed, that have seen pieces of street art springing up in various cities depicting a diamond in a circle with the word ‘Reflektor’ within.
A video advertising the alleged album (much like the clip embedded below) was played during sets at Lollapalooza earlier in the month, with two graffiti artists also previously coming out confirming the project to be something to do with Arcade Fire.
The Quebec collective had already revealed via a reply to a fan’s tweet that their much anticipated fourth album is set to drop 29 October. Now something else is likely to happen on 9 September, most probably a new single being unveiled, after a more definite piece of graffiti was found in Manhattan recently.
