Taking his time – presumably during breaks between making promo videos for Lana Del Rey and Drake – Yoann Lemoine, aka Woodkid, returns with the follow-up to last year’s impressive debut track ‘Iron‘.
‘Run Boy Run’ offers a similarly percussive heavy backing that recalls Duran Duran’s ‘Wild Boys’ while Lemoine reels off a coming-of-age lyric about loss of innocence and the end of childhood. The video’s pretty awesome too, with nods to Where The Wild Things Are among the many symbols and allusions.
