Experimental pop outfit Woman’s Hour revealed their hedonic new single ‘To The End’ at the end of last month. The London via Kendal quartet have surfaced again today, bringing with them this brilliantly conceived promo video for the aforementioned track.
Produced in Johannesburg, the bewitching slow-motion images show gymnasts, Siphiwe Mosoang and Xolani Nxumalo of Alexandra Trampoline Club, performing their routine in perfect synch with the song’s meandering analogue synth bleeps and luscious bass grooves. Woman’s Hour are showing true proficiency in disguising subtle melancholia under a veneer of polished production; this splendid desaturated film is yet another string to their bow.
