On their previous two albums, scheming art-popsters Tunabunny set out to destroy and then redeem rock’n’roll. Latest effort Genius Fatigue is a more audacious work, as indicated by the lurching, lo-fi menace of new single ‘Hollywood Unincorporated’.
We’ve got an exclusive first look at the video for said track, which sees the ramshackle glory of their post-punk femmepop bathed in red lighting and simple-yet-cryptic visuals, emphasising the intensity of their unsettling allure. It’s a doozey alright. The album comes courtesy of the good folk at Happy Happy Birthday To Me, with the band threatening a second UK tour later this year.
