The latest addition to the continuously essential Future Classic stable (home to Flume, Flight Facilities, Jagwar Ma), Australian quartet Scenic are due to release their debut EP through the label, with title track ‘Shockwaves’ premiering today at Best Fit.
The missing link between the disco pop of Phoenix and floaty psychedelia of fellow countrymenTame Impala, ‘Shockwaves’ is accompanied by a suitably retro video of fast moving found footage – all crashing waves, glamorous pin-ups and neatly timed explosions.
The Shockwaves EP is accompanied by three other brand new songs. A release date will be revealed in due course.
