We’ve been keeping our eye on Elliphant for quite some time now and boy she just keeps knocking them out of the park.
“Revolusion”, the latest effort from Sweden’s Ellinor Olovsdotter, sticks to the tightly wound dancehall beats we’ve come to know and love whilst also delving further into glitchy electronic territory. Her predilection for catchy pop hooks can still be found in the anthemic, rallying chorus cries but first and foremost this is a track to move your body to. If the beats alone aren’t enough to convince you of that then the above video should be as Elliphant fuses her demanding vocals with choreographed perfection.
