Berlin-via-South Africa chamber pop songstress Dear Reader today returns with a charming video for ‘Down Under, Mining’, lifted from her forthcoming new album Rivonia which drops via City Slang on 8 April.
Composed entirely of paper cut-outs, handcrafted and puppeteered live by Berlin based director Barbara Steinitz – the video recreates the old-world scenes that the miners in Johannesburg were faced to endure in the 1900′s.
