Watch: Charles Murdoch – Dekire ft. Oscar Key Sung
Two of Australia’s emerging musical talents, Future Classic producer Charles Murdoch, and Melbourne’s answer to How To Dress Well, Oscar Key Sung, team up on the sexy track, ‘Dekire’.
Synthy stabs and rickety clicks form the basis for delicately pleading vocals awash in a bath of humming reverb. Of course Best Fit is no stranger to the bubbling electronic scene down under, the marriage of percolating blips of digital effects, jagged pulses of distortion and Sung’s soft spilling words, lends to a more than enchanting first offering off Murdoch’s debut EP. Watch the accompanying video to fall even deeper in love. We did.
Charles Murdoch’s Weathered Straight EP is out later this year via Future Classic.
