“I want your body, everybody wants your body, so let’s jack, let’s jack”, the throbbing words that form the foundation of one of summer’s biggest hits, ‘Jack’, gets an obsession-worthy accompanying video.
UK DJ/producer Breach aka Ben Westbeech goes back to bass music roots with an ode to a new style of dance that emerged during a time when the pioneers of house and techno were still figuring out what to call their avant garde sound. Rolling basslines and an idealistic summer chant ripples through the mouth of a pink-lipped lady, as fur and hair clad dancers show off their rhythm and “jack” to the beat.
The acclaimed producer exhibits his knack for chopping up horn, percussion and vocal samples, then laces them all together to form of cacophony of dancefloor delight.
The summer anthem you’ve been waiting for is out on 14th July via Dirtybird/Atlantic Records, be sure to grab it.
