First appearing on the pages of Best Fit in the summer of 2011 with lo-fi stomper ’Luella’, London duo Paradise have been well and truly off the radar for twelve months or more. New single ‘Endless Wave’ is less of a return for the band, more a completely new beginning.
Assuming the pair have been holed up in a studio all this time slowly crafting their sound, this first taster of new material is nothing short of astounding. A box fresh ‘indie anthem’ that glides and soars in all the right places; zoning in on the pair’s obvious shoegaze reference points whilst recalling early Band Of Horses in the melody department. Accompanied by a stunning video, it’s all rather impressive stuff and bodes well for a successful 2013.
‘Endless Wave’ is released via Blue Rider on November 26. Pick up a limited edition 7″ copy of the single over yonder.
