Kara Lane and Bobby Lo are Toronto siblings K.I.D. (Kids In Despair).
Since being declared “unfit” for higher education the band retreated to their Moms basement, where they plotted out their recently released debut mixtape, full of gritty lo-fi garage pop nuggets. With titles like “The Bong Song”, “I Wish I Was Your Cigarette” and “Stoned On The School Bus”, it seems like they may just have skipped the education, but gone for the higher part anyway.
To accompany their visit to the UK the band put together a video for Bong Song and Stoned On The School bus featuring backyard gigs, pizza, donkey-kong and a fine line in synchronised dance routines.
