The video for Jaw Jam’s debut single, ‘U Don’t Know’ is a bit frustrating and A.D.D., but then again so am I, and so is most of the electronic music being produced today. So to say the static splices of faceless (but attractive) figures twitching in the wind is fitting, would be an understatement.
Of course, the video accompanies severely modulated SWV vocal snippets, “clap-happy” drum patterns and these gasping breaks and synthy exhales, all in an effort to pique listeners interest and dangle the climax/drop/hook carrot in front them until they are breaking a sweat and can’t stop fidgeting until they get more. Did it work?
