The emergence of “mid-70s NYC art punk” continues to envelop the UK as Charlie Boyer & The Voyeurs announce the release of their debut single ‘I Watch You’. The track is fully-loaded with wonderfully fuzzy muted riff work, feedback drenched guitar and pounding percussion, capped of by Charlie’s rasping vocal and an ecstatic finale.
All this landed them the coveted support slot for TOY on the band’s UK tour, which features a show at London’s Heaven this Wednesday.
Released on Heavenly Recordings, ‘I Watch You’ and its B-side ‘Be Nice’ is available now on 7” and download.
