Theme Park entered our musical sphere back in May when we made their Talking Heads tinged ‘Milk’ our Song of the Day. So bewitched were we that less than 24 hours later the promise of a future session was procured.

And now, a few weeks away from their ‘official’ debut show (31 August at The Lexington, since you asked) we present the fruits of a Sunday afternoon sojourn north of the river to a leafy Finsbury Park back garden for a shiny, stripped back take on a track from the quartet’s recent double A 7″ on Transgressive imprint paradYse Records.

‘Wax’ showcases yet another facet of the band’s musicality and songwriting, stripping back the flourishes of its recorded equivalent to leave a song you’ll be humming for weeks.
