Following the release of his latest full length album Abandoned City (our now via City Slang Records), experimental German composer and instrumentalist Hauschka sat down to give us an improvisation he has named “Dalston”.
An intense, burning composition that melds neoclassical traditions with modern dance rhythms, “Dalston” is just one example of Hauschka’s ability to create timeless, isolated and suspense filled structures with minimal ingredients.
Hauschka will play London’s Union Chapel on 25 September. Tickets are available here.
Abandoned City was released on 17 March via City Slang Records.
