While they were in town back in the summer for the Best Fit tour, our sessions team spent some time holed up with Swedish trio Simian Ghost.
As well as turning the warmingly-sweet Curtain Call, they also gave us another treat that we’ve been holding back for just the right moment.
Taken from Stevie Nicks’ 1983 album of the same name, the original version of ‘Wild Heart’ find the Fleetwood Mac woman embracing full-on MOR lustre with very distinct traces of her other band’s sound. The SG boys turn in a more concise cover that amps up the melancholy via frontman Sebastian Arnström’s mournful vocal leanings.
