Pixie Geldof channels pop-noir sadness in her first ever session
Pixie Geldof's first steps into music were revealed last month courtesy of the AA side "So Strong"/"Escape Route"
Geldof's voice is pure pop-noir; a bang-bang reverb drenched delivery flush with enough character to claim a solid starting point for a musical career and a heritage tinged with both talent and sadness.
"So Strong is one of the first songs to be lifted from my debut album I’m Yours," Geldof tells us. "It was written during a particularly prolific day in LA last July when I wrote two songs for the record back to back, so that makes it one year old this month...This was the first time I’ve played it for anybody outside of a rehearsal room."
