The Line of Best Fit
Franco-Canadian pianist Alexandra Stréliski makes cinematic, evocative music with a piano and has signed to Montreal’s Secret City Records - home of Leif Vollebekk, Owen Pallett, Patrick Watson, and Basia Bulat - for her new album Inscape.
Stréliski hails from a classical background and made her debut with the album Pianoscope in 2010 but most people might know her via Jean-Marc Vallée’s films Dallas Buyers Club and Demolition and the trailer of the Quebec director’s acclaimed HBO series Big Little Lies.
“Plus tôt” - which she performed for her Best Fit Session- also featured on HBO’s Sharp Objects.
