The Line of Best Fit
Late last year during Best Fit’s time in Reykjavik for Iceland Airwaves, we stumbled upon talented homegrown wunderkid Thor Bogason.
His Just Another Snake Cult project was a word-of-mouth success at the festival – an eclectic collection of musical talent driven by Bogason’s unique vision – equal parts Ariel Pink, Jeffrey Lewis and Brian Wilson.
On a rooftop overlooking the cold sea (as well as Harpa, the monolithic muli-room concert hall and conference venue where Björk would play that evening) Thor and his cult members fought frostbite, the defections of migrating birds and the darkening day to deliver a quite unique Best Fit Session.
