Having released his first LP in 2008, the Cape Town via London indie-folk troubadour and actor soon won acclaim with his acoustic guitar led lyrical storytelling and later as the frontman of Johnny Flynn & The Sussex Wit.
The singer was in the British capital as part of the line-up for Transgressive Records' 10th Anniversary Concert and we caught up with him ahead of his set for a special rendition of his theme song from the recent BBC Four drama Detectorists.
