A full-time member of Iceland-based collective and record label Bedroom Community, James McVinnie is as comfortable playing in Westminster Abbey for the Pope as he is commissioning work from leading contemporary composer Nico Muhly.
As legendary American composer Philip Glass turns 80, watch the English organist play one of Glass' most recognizable tracks, "Opening" from Glassworks, on a synthesizer, with a little help from a friend.
