HIGHS were another of our recent discoveries from the visiting Canadian bands at this year's Great Escape festival - the UK's very own SXSW.
The Toronto five-piece met at college and formed at in late 2012, dropping their debut EP the following year. Their music mixes ear-caressing vocal bonhomie with grown-up indie pop ambience of a quality that Canadians in music seem to effortlessly reach.
This year sees them hooking up with Foals/Charli XCX producer Luke Smith for their first long-player and they're on the road in their homeland throughout August and September.
Find out more about HIGHS on Facebook, Twitter and Soundcloud.
