Nick Talbot’s Gravenhurst project returned this year with a new album, the first in five years following 2007′s The Western Lands. The Ghost in Daylight is a record that brims with atmospherics, a soothing-but-dark undercurrent and Talbot’s talent for songwriting and performing – a combination that secures the Bristolian’s place among the UK’s best musical talents.
A long-desired subject for a Best Fit Session, we finally met up with Nick last month when he was in town to promote the new record, his fourth long-form release on the legendary Warp.
