Courtney Barnett stands out as one of 2014’s most intriguing and deserved successes so far.
The young Australian had never left her home country a year ago and her rise has been meteoric, with US dates for June already sold out and an appearance on Tonight…with Jimmy Fallon under her belt.
We met Barnett during Brighton’s Great Escape festival for a performance of “Lance Jr.”; watch above.
Courtney Barnett plays a London show today at Islington Assembly Hall and performs at this weekend’s Primavera in Barcelona and at Optimus Primavera Porto next weekend. The double EP A Sea Of Split Peas is out now.
