Dropping his Bright Eyes moniker once again for his next solo release, Conor Oberst recently performed upcoming album closer “Common Knowledge” especially for Best Fit.
Baring all the hallmarks of his earlier material (the song manages anger, tenderness and fragility all at once), the rendition also exhibits a marked maturity the singer-songwriter has come to possess. Watch the session right now above, exclusively on Best Fit.
Oberst’s new solo album Upside Down Mountain is released on 19 May via Nonesuch Records.
