During End of the Road Festival this year, the English songwriter took up the piano and played a short secret set for the punters that happened to walk past.
Watch a slow, deconstructed take of "Wild Roses", which instils a sense of gravity in an otherwise almost chirpy track.
Bill Ryder-Jones has a handful of dates in the UK left this year, including the End of the Road Christmas party in London.
Tickets for next year's End of the Road Festival are on sale here.
