Watch new folk-country sensation Barna Howard in session for Best Fit
The latest addition to Loose Records' cannon of country-tinged artists, Barna Howard sits comfortably amongst the rosters' more prominent artists (Sturgill Simpson, Justin Townes Earle, Andrew Combs) as a refreshing new voice in the often crowded boys club of singer-songwriters.
Howard's plaintive, honest ditties about love and loss instantly strike a chord. Songs delivered with an unabashed finesse, Barna evokes a young Dylan in his simplistic finger-picked guitar style and nasal twang - none more so than throughout 'Indiana Rose'.
The lead track to new album Quite A Feelin', watch Barna perform a stripped back take above.
Quite A Feelin’ was produced by Adam Selzer at Type Foundry Studio in Portland. The album is available on LP, CD and digital download now via Loose (and Mama Bird Recording Co. across North America).
Barna Howard heads out on tour with fellow Loose Records artist and regular Caitlin Rose collaborator Andrew Combs this September.
