Are Arkells Canada's answer to Wilco?

With a clutch of Juno Awards to their name, it's a wonder that the Hamilton, Ontario's Arkells haven't made greater strides over here in the UK.
The five-piece walk stridently on that not-so-fine line between rootsey rock and big pop sensibilities but we caught them at their most country on a late evening in Brighton earlier this year.
A couple of hours after they took to the stage at The Great Escape Festival, the band holed up with us for a one-take film of their BIG song "11:11", which features on last year's High Noon album - the band's third long-player.
