Orchards release new single, "I Feel Terrible"
Brighton-based indie-pop trio Orchards have returned with the brand new single, "I Feel Terrible".
“I Feel Terrible was written quite a while ago now, it feels so good to finally get this track out there and heard. We are super proud of how it turned out. It was written at a point where as musicians we were feeling quite stagnant and stuck but it really birthed new life into us.” says bassist Dan Fane.
“The last few years were rough on everyone and I only write from personal experiences. This record came from the breakdown of relationships, platonic and romantic. The pull between something you know is hurting you but your equal desire to stay to put the graft in. Even if it’s to the detriment of your mind and heart. Even though something can be beautiful, why does it make you feel so terrible? Writing this song was a release of that for me,” says Evers. “I was in love with all the baddest things and my limits had been bust. Perspective is a gift and sometimes you have to give that to yourself before it’s done for you.”
"I Feel Terrible" is out now via Big Scary Monsters.
