Fox Jackson offers a soundtrack for all your future dates with “A Sex Demo”
London-based singer/songwriter Fox Jackson is known for his funk-fuelled, soul pop anthems, infused with a hint of R&B, and his latest single “A Sex Demo” follows suit
Fox Jackson's latest romantic track shimmers with twinkling piano melodies, a groovy bassline, silky synths and his velvet vocals that hypnotise the listener from the very first note. As the London-based songwriter reminisces on a night that he spent with a special someone in his life, he captures the passion and seduction from the evening, reflecting it in the sultry instrumentation and intimate lyrics.
Oozing with emotion and affection, Jackson shares, “The day I wrote it I was thinking of the person I was with and how they made me feel so special.” “A Sex Demo” perfectly depicts that feeling of butterflies you get at the beginning of a new relationship, and how being with someone you love can somehow ease all of your worries and bring a sense of serenity during your time together, as if anything outside of your bubble doesn't exist.
The new single is the first to be released from Jackson’s upcoming EP, which will see the artist further delve into the theme of love and relationships in all its glory. He shares, “It’s safe to say that my music is inspired by what I go through in terms of my relationships. I think to love and be with someone is the greatest thing in the world. We all wanna feel those feelings of being treasured and looked after. It also connects with that deep rooted sense of self, because you only really know who you are through the eyes of someone else.”
As he channels his inner Prince, Fox Jackson offers a sensual and captivating track with “A Sex Demo”, showcasing his ability to blend funk, soul, and pop into a seductive and intoxicating musical experience.
