Primavera Pro - the industry-focused event that runs parallel to its parent festival - has revealed the line up of emerging artists set to play at this year's event.
From 4 - 6 June, artists from different export offices and institutions from all over the world will play at the Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona – to industry professionals as well as to the general public. There will also be several showcases as part of the Primavera a la Ciutat programme.
The musical offering are drawn from Wales, Austria, the Netherlands, Korea, France, , Argentina, Germany, Portugal, the Netherlands, Hungary, Lithuania, Navarre and Catalonia are set to take part..
The first day of music kicks off with Austrians OSKA, winner of the Music Moves Europe Talent Award, sharing her emotionally charged songs, while Wales brings Welsh Music Prize-winning rapper LEMFRECK and Luxembourg sends Best Fit favourites Francis of Delirium. From Seoul, Hypnosis Therapy will present their take on electronic hip-hop, there's Parisian hyperpop aritst Jenys and Catalonians Guineu, okew, Remei de Ca la and xicu.
On 5 June, the CCCB stage will bring together Costa Rican Sofi Páez, Argentinian folk/electronic musician Juana Aguirre and Netherlands popstar Naaz. NEONE The Wonderer will explore the boundaries between R&B, hip-hop and jazz, han gaiden will bring their fusion of electronic pop and synth-pop, and Dublin's Bucket will close out the day.
The final day of music brings Irish folk musician Niamh Bury, Australian pop talent aleksiah and Yoni Mayraz, a pianist and producer who blurs the boundaries between jazz, hip-hop and Middle Eastern melodies. From Bulgaria there's indie band Hayes & Y, Argentina's Isla Mujeres, and Milledenials – an Indonesian band that fuses shoegaze, emo and pop with a sound that reflects the complexity of a generation divided between the digital and the analogue.

Catalan Arts bring Mar Pujol, Llum and dani6ix & IZZKID to represent Catalonia. IZZKID hit it big with "Van Gogh", which went to the top of Spotify's most viral tracks. Mar Pujol's muic sees her voice and her guitar come together in a delicate and unpretentious combination, while Llum is represented by the hypnotic voice of her future
The Navarra Music Commission bring Olaia Inziarte, whose dark pop compositions reference the popular songbook of Navarre.
The Music From Ireland platform presents a wide range of emerging talents that reflect Ireland's vibrant and diverse music scene, among them the intense and immersive sensory experience of YARD, alt-pop's Chubby Cat, rapper Curtisy, singer/songwriter Katie Phelan, and psychedelic punks The Love Buzz.
From Argentina, the Instituto Nacional de la Música de Argentina (INAMU) brings Salta-artist Feli Colina – who takes her roots and twists them to out a new spin on her origins. Italy's So Beast comes to Primavera Pro with ATER Fondazione and the Emilia-Romagna Music Commission, to represent the Italian cultural scene.

Primavera Pro, the global meeting point for professionals in the music sector, is holding a new edition this year from 4th to 6th June. Its programme will combine talks, panels and showcases at the CCCB until 6th June with the aim of taking the pulse of the industry and its near future. In addition, it will be the perfect opportunity to witness, completely free of charge, a selection of top artists live in concert who are already prominent in their countries and who bring the best of international music to Barcelona.
Primavera Pro, as part of Primavera a la Ciutat, brings together a careful selection of free concerts at the Centre of Contemporary Culture of Barcelona (CCCB). Renowned for its ability to spot talent, Primavera Pro brings together artists who are making a mark on the global scene, with proposals that transcend borders and consolidate their international projection. Their participation is not limited to showcases, it is complemented by a series of activities designed to further their careers and connect them with the industry around the world, offering them a unique opportunity for growth and projection.
Among thousands of proposals from all over the world, artists representing Argentina, Costa Rica, Bulgaria, Norway, the United Kingdom, Austria, Ireland, France, the Netherlands, Catalonia, Indonesia, South Korea and Australia have been selected. They will perform live and free of charge at the CCCB. Discover the music that is making its mark on the world.
Like every year, the festival will collaborate with the main export offices - Lithuanian Music Business Association, Austrian Music Export, Music From Ireland, Music Norway, Centre National de la Musique - CNM, Music:LX / Luxembourg Export Office, Dutch Music Export, Catalan Arts, among others - to bring the best international talent to Barcelona during the week of Primavera Sound.
4th June
On the first day of Primavera Pro, the CCCB stage will bring together a selection of artists who reflect the musical diversity of different scenes around the world. From Austria, OSKA, winner of the Music Moves Europe Talent Award, will share her emotionally charged songs. From Wales, L E M F R E C K, winner of the Welsh Music Prize, will bring his vision of rap. Luxembourg's Francis of Delirium will combine indie rock and alternative sounds that connect with any generation.
From Seoul, HYPNOSIS THERAPY will present their take on electronic hip-hop, exploring new forms within the genre. Paris brings us JENYS, who will take us to her hyperpop world, influenced by the 2000s and the aesthetics of video games.
In Catalonia, GUINEU will shake up the stage with their direct and energetic pop. okdw (ok-deu) will introduce their fusion of hip-hop and R&B in Catalan, while Remei de Ca la Fresca will bring a rock with its own identity and without fear of vindication. xicu will close the day with his own particular vision of the most experimental pop.
5th June
On 5th June, the CCCB stage will bring together six artists with very personal proposals and styles ranging from the most intimate pop to the most explosive rock. Costa Rican Sofi Páez will open the day with her combination of piano and vocals and unique compositions, and from Argentina, Juana Aguirre will bring a fusion of acoustic folk and electronic textures that reflect her roots and her artistic search.
From the Netherlands, Naaz will share her unique vision of pop, marked by her Kurdish identity and the way she weaves tradition and modernity into her music. NEONE The Wonderer will explore the boundaries between R&B, hip-hop and jazz, building a sound that invites calm amid the chaos.
The immersive live performance of han gaiden will bring their fusion of electronic pop and synth-pop, and closing the day will be Bucket, Dublin's loudest band, with raw, energetic rock that promises to shake the stage.
6th June
On 6th June, the CCCB will host the last day of showcases where folk, indie and experimental sound will coexist on the same stage. From Ireland, Niamh Bury, nominated for Best Emerging Artist at the RTE Folk Awards 2024, will offer her fusion of traditional and contemporary folk. From Australia, aleksiah will bring unrestricted pop, full of freshness and freedom.
The evening will continue with Yoni Mayraz, a pianist and producer who blurs the boundaries between jazz, hip-hop and Middle Eastern melodies. From Bulgaria, Hayes & Y, the country's leading indie band, will display their combination of elegant guitars and synthesizers.
The Argentinian band Isla Mujeres, with their indie-tinged rock-pop, will share their essence: the ability to find beauty in the everyday even in uncertain times. The day will close with Milledenials, an Indonesian band that fuses shoegaze, emo and pop with a sound that reflects the complexity of a generation divided between the digital and the analogue.
Primavera Pro not only provides a showcase for talent from around the world, but also reinforces its role as a key meeting point for the global music industry. Thanks to the support of the Catalan Institute for Cultural Companies (ICEC) for making it possible for this gathering of professionals to continue boosting the visibility of artists and businesses from around the world, as well as to the Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona (CCCB) for hosting us once again.
