Wales-based rock trio The Joy Formidable took time out from album recording to play their only two UK gigs planned for the whole of this year. They headlined the fledgling Gwyl Gardd Goll festival in Anglesey before heading south the next day to Cardiff for a packed out Globe Theatre show. Photographer Mike Hughes went along for the ride.
