At part of Iceland's Secret Solstice festival, synth pop outfit Warmland launched their debut album Unison Love on Saturday, in the otherworldly setting of a lava tunnel. Supported by homegrown pop songstresses Rokky and Bríet, the duo treated the audience – who donned hard hats and waterproofs to brave the tunnel's hostile conditions – to stripped-back renditions of their recent hits, including a gorgeous, drumless take on new single "Further". The cave's cathedral-like reverb was a great match for Warmland's expansive, synth-led sound, with the surrounding rock face illuminated by brightly-coloured lights and flashes of strobe.
