yunè pinku announces forthcoming EP, Scarlet Lamb
Singer-songwriter and producer yunè pinku has returned with a new single, “Believe”, as the first preview of a new EP, Scarlet Lamb.
“Believe” was written alongside the amazing Cecile Believe last year. It's about the elevation that faith (whether externally or internally) can give you," yunè pinku explains. "It’s written from an almost omnipresent point of view, like a guardian angel or a lost friend on the other side looking out for you. Sonically, it’s also moving into a more alternative-indie range of sounds with some slight hyperpop influences in the percussions of the track. I think it was one of/if not the first track made off this EP, so in my mind it’s a bit of a baptism track for the whole project.”
yunè pinku stormed onto the music scene with the debut single "Laylo" in 2021, which marked the first puzzle piece of her debut E, Bluff. She then followed this with the BABYLON IX EP.
Scarlet Lamb is set for release on 4 October via Method 808, and is available to pre-save now.
