Young Fathers unveil new cut "Tell Somebody"
Young Fathers have shared a third preview of their Heavy Heavy album titled "Tell Somebody".
After announcing Heavy Heavy with "I Saw" in October, Young Fathers have shared a new cut titled "Tell Somebody", which lands with another David Uzochukwu-directed video.
Heavy Heavy will follow 2018’s Cocoa Sugar album, and will feature 10 songs. They say of the title, "Heavy Heavy could be a mood, or it could describe the smoothed granite of bass that supports the sound… or it could be a nod to the natural progression of boys to grown men and the inevitable toll of living, a joyous burden, relationships, family, the natural momentum of a group that has been around long enough to witness massive changes."
"Tell Somebody" is out now. Young Fathers will release their Heavy Heavy album on 3 February 2023 via Ninja Tune, and it’s available to pre-order now. They'll play London's Roundhouse on 9 March 2023. Tickets are on sale now via young-fathers.com.
