yasiin bey and The Alchemist team up for a new project, FORENSICS

In a live stream performance on Bandcamp on Friday 7 February, yasiin bey and The Alchemist will perform FORENSICS for the first time, following on from their inaugural concert at Le Trianon in Paris on January 25^th during Paris Fashion Week.

The FORENSICS project is the outcome of a collaboration between the two artists that began in Los Angeles in 2023, having been brought together by their mutual friend Chace Infinite.

Bandcamp users will have the opportunity to purchase a range of album-related merchandise items, caps and wearable artwork for now, all of which include a scannable ‘BUMP™’ tag.

The BUMP™ tag leads to an online link to register the owner on a secure website that will, initially, give access to a selected audio track from the FORENSICS album, replay of the live stream video, and the album art. This approach to putting out new material is the one of a number of upcoming releases intended to inextricably link the acquisition of music to the artwork, apparel and supporting video footage.
