Wunderhorse further preview second album with "Silver"
Wunderhorse have shared the brand new single, "Silver" as the third taster of their forthcoming album, Midas.
Originally conceived long before Midas began to take shape, "Silver" almost failed to make the record due to the niggling feeling that its pieces weren’t quite fitting into place. Whilst stateside at Pachyderm Studio, Wunderhorse stripped it down to basics and inspiration struck to complete the jigsaw.
The brand new release follows "July", and their recent return with the album's title track.
“The song is about that ugly side of yourself that you try to keep a secret, but you know it’s there because it makes your skin crawl sometimes,” frontman Jacob Slater says of the track. “It gets you places but fucks you up in the process. Everyone has elements of their makeup that they’d rather not admit to or keep locked away and never look at. That’s what ‘Silver’ is about. Kind of.”
Midas, will arrive on 30 August via Communion, and is available to pre-order now.
