Wild Nothing shares their take on cyber-romance with new single, "Dial Tone"
Wild Nothing – AKA Jack Tatum – releases the latest preview of his forthcoming LP Hold, with the '80s tinged track, “Dial Tone".
"Dial Tone" is released with a video accompaniment directed by Min Soo Park, depicting two lovers returning to home (each other).
As Tatum’s first self-produced record since his debut, Hold is at first glance a return to form: but with a plethora of new sonic influences, mixing by Geoff Swan (Caroline Polachek, Charli XCX), and contributions from Hatchie, Molly Burch, Becca Mancari, Tommy Davidson of Beach Fossils, Hatchie, and his wife, Dana, Hold is truly a celebration of the lengths Jack Tatum has come as a leader in his ever growing musical community — and as an acclaimed songwriter for Japanese Breakfast’s GRAMMY Winning Jubilee and Molly Burch’s 2021 LP release.
"Dial Tone" follows previous single "Suburban Solutions" which was launched alongside an exclusive partnership with Osmote Wines. The natural winery located in New York’s Finger Lakes terroir will release a special “Suburban Solutions” Riesling, and in the UK, Blackbook Winery will produce the bottle for lead single “Headlights On”, which features Hatchie. The wine will be bundled with the LP on milky clear & black split vinyl.
Hold will be released on 27 October via Captured Tracks, and is available to pre-order now. For more information on the album and wine bundles, visit blackbookwinery.com.
