Wilco to sell vintage guitars and rare musical gear from their personal collections on Reverb
Wilco have announced a forthcoming sale of rare musical items on their Reverb page which was launched last year.
In a news story posted to Reverb's website, they've listed all of the items that will be available in Wilco's upcoming sale.
One of the more exclusive items for sale will be a 1962 Martin F-55 – one of the few electric guitar models built by the acoustic brand, from Jeff Tweedy’s personal collection. "It’s a rare bird…you don’t see these in the wild too often," The Loft studio manager Mark Greenberg says of the guitar. "I’ll be honest, I’m surprised Jeff is selling this one." A rare 1960s Framus “Big 18” double-neck electric guitar from Tweedy’s personal collection is also included “You may live to be 100 and never see another!” Greenberg said.
