Whenyoung announce second album with new single "Unchained"
Whenyoung are back with news of their second album Paragon Songs, and have released new track "Unchained" to accompany the announcement.
"Unchained" is the third preview of Whenyoung's new album, following earlier singles "The Laundress" and "A Little Piece Of Heaven", and the duo's Aoife Power says the latest track was "written about a time when I was being made to feel like I was not enough as I am. I felt cramped, stunted and in turn obsessed by my weaknesses. Leaving this situation allowed me to regain my self esteem and release the defensive layer I had used for protection."
Paragon Songs will follow their 2019 debut Reasons To Dream, and was written between a cottage in County Clare on the West coast of Ireland, and in a flat located on a street called Paragon on the East coast of England.
Tracklist:
- Shame Train
- Rubiks Cube

"Unchained" is out now. Whenyoung's Paragon Songs album will arrive on 7 April 2023, and is available to pre-order now. They'll play London's Omeara on 17 April 2023. Tickets are on sale now.
