Wednesday preview new album with fourth single "TV in the Gas Pump"
Wednesday have unveiled a fourth single from their upcoming album Rat Saw God titled "TV in the Gas Pump".
"TV in the Gas Pump" lands with a video directed by Approved, and will appear on the band's Rat Saw God album with earlier singles "Bath County", "Chosen to Deserve" and "Bull Believer".
The band's Karly Hartzman says, "This is the first song I’ve written about being on the road, and I really just wanted to collect all that imagery you ingest on tour. A few images that made it in the song include: the never ending gas station stops that blend together and the dystopian gas pump advertisements, a stressful experience in a Panera bread and a story of coming up from taking what you thought was a microdose of shrooms in a Dollar General."
Rat Saw God will follow Wednesday's 2022 covers album Mowing The Leaves Instead Of Piling ‘Em Up, and 2021's Twin Plagues album.
"TV in the Gas Pump" is out now. Wednesday's Rat Saw God album will arrive on 7 April via Dead Oceans, and is available to pre-order now.
