Watch Viji cover Modest Mouse live in session for Best Fit
London-based Austrian-Brazilian artist Viji performs a cover of Modest Mouse's "Dramamine" live in session exclusively for Best Fit in collaboration with Crouch End Studios.
Speaking about the cover choice, Viji says: "We picked to do "Dramamine" by Modest Mouse. I’ve actually wanted to cover it for a while but haven’t quite had the right setting to do so. It’s a song that’s been super close to me for like 10 years now and was track number three or four on my sleep playlist that I religiously listened to every night. I remember this was always the last song I would register before drifting off. I don’t know how well known it is, but I used to have the whole Modest Mouse discography on my iPod pre-Spotify, and this one is the one I connected to the most."
The live session follows the release of Viji's debut album So Vanilla, which landed in October 2023. On 15 January Viji will play Best Fit's annual new music Five Day Forecast festival, which takes place at The Lexington in London across five consecutive nights from 15-19 January.
