Watch Halsey make her feature film debut in sneak peek of Americana
A scene from Americana has been shared as a sneak peek before it premieres at SXSW tomorrow, and it shows Halsey in their first feature film role.
Back in February 2022 it was revealed that Halsey would be starring in Tony Tost's directorial debut, formerly titled National Anthem, alongside Euphoria's Sydney Sweeney, and Paul Walter Hauser. The film is now titled Americana, and ahead of its premiere at SXSW tomorrow (17 March) one of the scenes has been revealed, and it sees Halsey filling up a car with fuel and being approached by Sweeney's character.
Americana is the first of two on-screen projects that Halsey has with Sweeney. The second project is The Players Table, an adaptation of Jessica Goodman’s novel They Wish They Were Us.
