Melbourne singer/songwriter Gena Rose Bruce covers The Cardigans' 1996 hit "Lovefool" live in session exclusively for Best Fit at Crouch End Studios.
Speaking about her cover choice, Gena Rose Bruce tells Best Fit: ""Lovefool" is one of those songs where at first listen you think it's kind of a fun/party song, but the more you listen you start to understand what the lyrics are actually saying, and there is a real desperation to them, it's really beautiful and I think by stripping it back the lyrical story can really come through."
Bruce's Best Fit live session follows the release of her Lighting Up EP last month. Her Deep Is The Way album arrived back in January.
