Watch Ariana Grande in the first teaser trailer for Wicked
The first teaser trailer for Jon M. Chu's Wicked shows the first look at Ariana Grande as Glinda and Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba.
The forthcoming Jon M. Chu–directed film is an adaptation of the musical Wicked, which is told from the perspective of two witches of the Land of Oz. In the film, a friendship emerges between Elphaba and Glinda, two clashing witches in the magical land of Oz. Elphaba is wrongfully cast as a wicked witch as she seeks to expose the fraudulent, corrupt Wizard who rules the land.
Jeff Goldblum has been cast as the Wizard, alongside Academy Award winner Michelle Yeoh, Jonathan Bailey, Bowen Yang, and Ethan Slater.
The first part of Wicked is set for release on 27 November, whilst the second half will drop in 2025.
