Watch Alex Lahey cover Plain White T's live in session for Best Fit
Australian singer/songwriter Alex Lahey covers Plain White T's "Hey There Delilah" live in session exclusively for The Line of Best Fit in partnership with Crouch End Studios.
"Just before I left Australia, I picked up this acoustic guitar and absolutely fell in love with it," Lahey tells Best Fit. "When the invitation to come in and play a cover for The Line of Best Fit came to me, I decided I wanted to cover one of the most iconic acoustic rock songs I could think of. An ambitious task, perhaps, but "Hey There Delilah" really plays itself - that’s a testament to the truly brilliant song that it is."
Lahey's cover of Plain White T's 2006 single lands hot on the heels of her third album The Answer Is Always Yes, which arrived in May as the follow up to 2019's The Best Of Luck Club. Her US tour continues in Philadelphia tonight (9 June), and she'll play some Australian shows in August. Visit alexlahey.com.au for more information.
