Tyler, The Creator makes reference to Swifties using old lyrics to try and cancel him
Tyler, the Creator performed two pop-up shows in collaboration with Converse, last week.
The shows were in celebration of his recently released album, Chromakopia, and took place on the roof of Converse's headquarters, for a tiny fee of $5. During his Halloween show in Boston, Tyler played a 30-minute set, which included songs such as "St. Chroma", "Noid", "Sticky", and "Though I Was Dead".
During the set, Tyler mentioned that fans of Taylor Swift were trying to “cancel” him by bringing up some of his old lyrics. This is believed to have been because he momentarily overtook her on the global Spotify Top Artists chart. “I got Swifties all mad at me with their racist ass,” he said. “Bringing up old lyrics, bitch, go listen to ‘Tron Cat,’ I don’t give a fuck. They gonna bring out the old me.
