Troye Sivan and PNAU unite on new single "You Know What I Need"
Troye Sivan and PNAU have teamed up for a new single titled "You Know What I Need".
"You Know What I Need" marks Sivan's first new outing since reuniting with Gordi for the Three Months song "Wait" in February, and sees him join forces with Australia's PNAU, who were behind Elton John and Dua Lipa's chart-topping single "Cold Heart". The new collaboration is accompanied by an AI-animated video directed and developed by Kuba Matyka and Kamila Staszczyszyn.
PNAU's Nick Littlemore says of the single, "Working with Troye again has been amazing! When we wrote this song we had no idea that we would get so lucky to have Troye Sivan singing and bringing his unbridled creativity to the world of PNAU."
Sivan adds, "I’m so happy this song is coming out just before the Australian summer - it sounds like a beach festival to me and I am stoked to have it out."
As well as releasing new music, Sivan will star in The Weeknd's forthcoming HBO series The Idol, which is due to arrive in 2023.
Sivan's latest album Bloom landed in 2018.
